IMPORTANT! Disconnect power source before servicing.

Pump seized Disassemble and check cause
Check valve stuck Remove obstruction
Thermostat defective Replace
Incorrect thermostat Install correct thermostat (see instructions)
Pump defective Replace pump
Pump relay defective Replace pump relay
Pump runs no-circulation Check for proper installation of:

• Check valves
• Pump
• Piping
• Air vents
• De-pneumatic
Isolation valves "OFF" Turn valves "ON" (see instructions)
No water in system Fill and vent system properly
Water not circulating Check piping for restrictions, air locks or pumping
Pump backwards Reinstall properly or switch supply and return pipes

Insufficient Heat Water heater thermostat set too low Turn control up
Water heater too small Install properly sized unit
Filters clogged Replace filters
Air handler too small Install properly sized unit
Blower speed too low Set higher speed
Heat registers closed Open registers
De-pneumatic not installed properly Install properly (see instructions)
Water heater dip tube not installed correctly Install properly (see water heater instructions)
Uninsulated water lines Insulate properly
Wall thermostat inoperative Repair or replace
Unit panels off Reinstall panels
Water lines restricted Remove restriction
Ducts loose or blocked Repair ductwork

Not Enough Domestic Hot Water Water heater control set too low Raise setting (see water heater instructions)
System improperly piped Re-pipe
Water heater control not adjusted for rated BTU Set proper input (see water heater instructions)
Water lines not insulated Insulate hot water piping
Draw exceeds recovery rate of water heater Reduce rate of draw until heater recovers
Dip tube broken or not installed properly See water heater instructions
Water heater undersized Replace

Blower Noisy Blower wheel scraping sides Re-align wheel
Blower wheel not balanced Re-balance wheel
Blower wheel loose Tighten set screw
Motor shaft bent Replace motor
Blower mounting loose Tighten screws
Objects in blower wheel Remove debris

Blower Does Not Operate Defective blower relay Replace relay
Transformer bad Replace transformer
Motor defective Replace motor
Incorrect or loose wires Correct wiring
Motor overloaded Remove cause of overload

Fan Operates But No Heat Pilot out Re-light
Pump airbound 1. Follow start-up procedures
2. Install purge valves
Pump does not run 1. Check pump relay
2. See pump service information
Pump runs but no circulation 1. Check for proper installation of:

• Check valves
• Pump (see pump service info)
• Piping
• De-pneumatic

2. Are isolation valves open?
Check valves closed/melted Remove obstructions; replace

Coil Hot During Cooling Cycle Check valves defective, held open or improperly installed Clean or replace
Pump runs Check wiring, thermostat

No Fan During Cooling Cycle Motor defective Replace
Fan relay defective Replace
Thermostat defective or miswired Repair or replace
Service switch off Turn switch on

Fan Runs Continually While Condensing Unit Cycles, Thermostat In "Auto" Position Defective thermostat Repair or replace
Defective fan relay Replace

Insufficient Cooling Undersized equipment Replace
Defective condensing unit Consult manufacturer’s installation and service instructions
Restricted ductwork Remove restriction
Access panels loose Re-install
Leaks in ductwork Repair

Consult air conditioning installation and service instructions if your system does not cool properly.
